Hello all, I can’t believe it’s been several months since my last post! Time surely flies!
I hope you all enjoy your summer so far. I just wanted to give you a quick update. Over the past few months, I have been quite busy with home remodeling. It all began with replacing the piping, followed by fumigation and cleaning out the attic — quite a chaotic process!. These were done while the crews were working on the bathrooms and kitchen. My family and I had to live either in a hotel or stay with our crossed-street neighbor. Aside from these, there were a few surprises during the remodeling. All drains in the master shower needed to be replaced because some were broken and some were in terrible condition. Termite damages were more extensive than what we anticipated which cost us a little more on repairs.
Overall, I am glad we have finished most of the projects that we planned to do before summer. The rest that needs to be done are just some touch-ups on the walls and baseboards. We are still debating on adding a shower in the laundry area. We are also thinking of remodeling the garage to make things look neat and safe especially the wires and the outlets. I wonder when we can finally call it the end of our home projects….
Anyways, I am still here. I got a little vacation and went to visit my parents. It felt so great to see my dear family again after years of covid restrictions. Life is never easy and I am just grateful that I survived the toughest time of remodeling. 🙂
