
Hemp seeds, or hemp hearts, when shelled, look like shelled green beans. They smell slightly of grass when sniffed, but when eaten, they have some kind of milky aroma which I like very much. Perhaps many of you have already included them in your daily diet. Like you, when making green smoothies or nut milk, I like to add a few spoonfuls for added nutrition. My favorite way to eat them is to simply scoop up a spoonful and eat it directly. Mmm… the rich nutty milk flavor is so satisfying!!! 大麻籽 hemp seeds , 經過脫殼, 小小的乳白色種籽, 長得像脫殼的綠豆仁, 聞起來帶點草地的青草香, 吃起來卻有股淡淡的奶香味, 也許不少朋友們已經把它放入日常的飲食中. 如同你們, 我們家打綠拿鐵的時候或是泡製核果奶, 吃沙拉時也會加上幾勺添加營養. 我最喜歡的吃法是直接舀上一匙吃進嘴裡. 恩~~滿滿的核果奶香, 甚是滿足!
Hemp seeds are the seeds of the hemp plant. Many people may wonder if they will have the same mind-altering effects on us as marijuana. The answer is no. Although its name contains the word “hemp,” it is a different variety from the plant that is used to make marijuana. In the process of production, the shelled hemp seeds contain barely minimal amounts of the psychoactive compound THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). So, there is no need to worry about consuming hemp seeds having the same effects as using marijuana. Hemp seeds, 是大麻的種籽. 很多人可能會有疑問它是否會跟大麻一樣對我們造成影響. 答案是不會的. 雖然中文名字含有大麻兩字, 但是它與製作Marijuana的大麻植物是不同品種的. 在製造過程中到最後販售的脫殼大麻籽, 裡面含有毒的THC ( tetrahydrocannabinol)是微乎其微, 並不會對人體造成所謂上癮的問題, 所以不需要擔心吃了大麻籽是否與跟吸食大麻具有相同的結果.

You might not want to underestimate these tiny little seeds. They pack quite rich nutrition that you couldn’t imagine. Hemp seeds are rich in protein and contain nine essential amino acids (EAAs) that our bodies cannot produce on our own and must rely on external sources to obtain. As shown in the picture above, 30 grams of hemp seeds contain 10 grams of protein and 12 grams of omega-3 and omega-6. In addition to being a rich source of protein, they also contain essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. They provide excellent benefits such as preventing cardiovascular diseases, reducing inflammation in the body, maintaining healthy skin, and promoting hair growth, etc. Moreover, they are also rich in important minerals such as magnesium, zinc, iron, phosphorus, and even dietary fiber. As to how to eat it, you may simply sprinkle a few spoons of hemp seeds on top of your favorite salad or blend it with your morning green smoothies just like I did. Sometimes I add it when making nut milk or enjoy it as a yogurt topping! I once also tried adding it when baking muffins or making peanut butter sandwiches. There are tons of ways to include it in your daily diet. You may easily find it at local Costco or buy it from Amazon or Sprouts. This is one of the most commonly nutritional foods I eat aside from chia seeds! If you ever come across them, don’t miss out, give them a try! 至於吃法, 除了一開始我提到自家加入綠拿鐵,, 豆穀奶, 或是加入優格當topping用,最常見的就是放入沙拉中一塊食用. 我也曾經在烤瑪芬中添加過或是做peanut butter sandwich 時加入幾勺. 總之各色吃法通通可以的喔~ 我最常買的就是Costco 的有機hemp seeds. 在Amazon 或是sprouts 也能買的到. 這個是除了chia seeds 之外我最常食用的營養食品了! 有機會大家走過看過千萬別錯過, 也嘗試看看吧~ 🙂
